Well, I am sorry to all you who check my blog and think "what a waste of a click," when you get in to my blog and see the same old post from months and months ago. I am sure most of you have given up on me. But, give me a second chance!
To not overwhelm myself I am just going to do a simple and quick post. Here are some recent pictures from Halloween. Lucy was an Indian and Mollie was supposed to be and Indian as well but grew out of her costume in 2 weeks!
It is amazing how fast she is growing up! So anyway she wore the costume I had made for Lucy last year. I just added some Tulle to it and there you go. She is something..I have no idea what she is, but I thought she was dang cute.
I can't believe how fast my kiddos are growing up. Lucy will turn 2 on the 27th of November and today Mollie has turned 5 Months! I love my little girlies and my hubby is pretty cute too.

4 weeks and counting.....
It seems like yesterday that Mollie was born and I can't believe it has already been 4 weeks! And..man, has she grown.
In just last couple of days I have noticed that she turns her head to look at Us and out of no where today she was rolling from side to side. (which seems a little early for that, but what do I know?) She is also beginning to stay awake for a couple hours at a time which means, time to get her on the same schedule as Lucy!
So far, it has worked out for the last 2 days that they nap during the same time. I have figured out that if I put Lucy down before Mollie then I get to have some one on one with the babe and enjoy time holding her without Lucy climbing all over her and me. Lucy then wakes up before Mollie and I get to play with her.
I guess I just am pretty proud of myself that I am learning how to manage life with two kiddos!
and YES............
I still get angry with Lucy when she throws all of her food on the floor and when she climbs onto the chairs, couches, and bed and stands on them just because she knows I can not get to her fast enough!!! eeerrggg.... but then she will do the cutest funniest things and they make up for all the No No's.
I just got my new Double Jogging Stroller!! I am loving Life!

Oh Does she make Us Laugh
Lucy has Graduated! Finally, from the infant car seat to the Front facing Big Girl Seat.
Lucy is also catching on to Everything, lately. Good and Bad. She is getting the hang of so many words and picking up on the small and simple things. For Instance:
Realizing that Bugs are pretty Cool (at least to her they are) and also Mastering the "bitter beer face," I have no clue where she got this from.
Toys are more fun when you can play with them all at once
In Order to play Outside you have to put on shoes

FINALLY an UPDATE
Sorry to anyone who still looks at my blog. I just have not had anything interesting in my life going on lately, besides a growing belly. But, today I must say has been an eventful one. So we got the nursery DONE! My sweet dad helped us with putting up crown molding and then Grady was awesome and went to town painting! It is exactly what I wanted and I LOVE IT!
Grady, has also been working late hours still and this afternoon we made it to the park for the first time this year, with all 3 of us. It was so fun to see Lucy so grown up going down the slide and also wearing pigtails! I can't believe how much she has grown up over the last couple months.
Next Project, the Backyard!!................ Oh, and having a baby (4 weeks to go)!!.....................

A Cute Dad
I thought having Valentines on a Saturday rocked!
Usually, this time of year Grady is barely able to get home by 8:00 on Valentines. (He probably would have been home earlier though since busy season at work is going lots smoother than most) But, It was Fun to have the day to celebrate!
Grady made Lucy and I breakfast. Then we made some Valentine's cards and Cupcakes and took them around to Grandma's and Grandpa's.
I Love having a child because it gives me an excuse to do "kiddy" things.
Later, I made a Steak dinner and we had Chocolate fondue. Right before dinner Grady brought in presents for Lucy and I. He got this darling tall heart shaped candle for me and a princess coloring book and crayons for Lucy.
It seriously melted my heart that he bought Lucy her first little princess "thing." I thought it was so cute of him. What a Sweet Husband and Dad!

happenings
This last weekend we went to Heber with my family and did the "Bells and Whistles" train ride. We took a slow 15 min train ride on the Heber Creeper which then dropped us off at this field. We then were taken on a BUmpY sleigh ride. Lucy enjoyed seeing the farm animals and saying MOOO at the cows. But honestly, it didn't match up to what I was anticipating. It was fun though to be with family and to be doing something. (We are pretty boring people on the weekends.)
The other week we went and visited with Grady's Grandma Cook who just moved into a care center. We call her "Great Cookie," she is the sweetest lady I have ever met. We love her so dearly. I realized being in the care facility with all these great wise "elderly" people that there is such a neat feeling that you feel being around these sweet people. I almost can't wait to go back again. I guess that is why I did Home Healthcare for so long because I love the spirit that the elderly have.
